I recently got myself a mechanical keyboard just to see what they were like.
I won't keep you in suspense, it's been an incredible experience. My hand is in the pic for scale by the way. Who would have thought that it was possible to be so pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable typing is. The problem is that now I can never go back to a membrane keyboard, even if this is only a cheap mechanical one. Hopefully you understand, the difference is astonishing. It's so pleasant that I even decided to make this post mostly just to type it, and enjoy typing it. There must be so many other things in life that you never consider upgrading or improving because well enough works well enough, and this was certainly one of those things for me. It makes me think about my old keyboard now. It was a fight every time I wanted to type something without me even realising it was a fight. This new keyboard really does feel like typing on a cloud. A really worthwhile experience. Just so you are aware, this isn't sponsored by they keyboard manufacturer or anything. It just has me thinking about what else in life would be this easy to upgrade. There are probably things I have put off learning, things I have put off saying, things I have put off even considering how they could be better. All because things are good enough to just keep going Can you think of anything in your life you might want to upgrade?
